Six Flags
We went to Six Flags last weekend. We had made reservations a few weeks before, but had decided not to go when we found our plumbing problem. We never got around to canceling the reservations, and since we didn't have to pay for our plumbing disaster, we decided to use our reservations. Actually, we took Abby out to eat last Friday for her perfect report card and saw a discount on the McDonalds cup and it sparked our memory! The whole weekend Abby kept saying "boy, this was a great idea I had". We just laughed. Poor Jillian wanted to ride all the big roller coasters and I know she got sick of us saying, you are not tall enough. Abby is getting more brave, she actually rode a wooden roller coaster named the Judge Roy Scream. She did really good and only screamed (not as loud as Papa), but she did not cry. She didn't want to ride it again, but said that she liked it. They have added alot of kid rides next to the big rides at the park. It was great for us. 2 of us would ride the kiddy rides with the kids while the other 2 rode. There were hardly any lines so we could walk right up to the cue line. We bought discount tickets before we went and left them on the kitchen counter. I was upset at first then we realized that an out of area season pass was actually cheaper. It was a crazy fast weekend, but we had a BLAST! It was nice to get away and just what the doctor ordered!
