Jillian's New Look

The girls spent the night with Mema and Papa last Saturday night. They managed to convice Mema that they needed their hair curled on Sunday morning. They love to have their hair curled, but I usually don't take the time because both of them look good with straight hair and that is how it naturally is. On Sunday night I rolled their hair and let them sleep in sponge rollers. Jillian's hair looked great! Abby's looked like she had a bad perm. We decided that Abby's hair was too short and promptly got out the flat iron and fixed it. I just put a bow in Jillian's hair and called it a day. Now she wants her hair curled everyday! Someone saw Jillian from behind on Tuesday and asked if I was bringing Molly to school (a friend's little girl with naturally curly hair). She was really surprised when Jillian turned around! I curled Abby's hair with a large curling iron that night for her Cheer pictures and it turned out so cute! Her hair takes curl so well! Jillian's hair is more straight then Abby's and it takes alot more for curl to stay in her hair. That is why I usually don't bother. I will probably do it again on Friday for her program, but then I'm taking a break for a while. Abby's cute little haircut and Jillian's ponytails are just much easier and faster!

Days with Max

I haven't blogged about Max since we brought him home the week before Thanksgiving! He is getting So big! Jillian took the picture with him sleeping the other day. Today when she was playing with her doll house, Max decided to join her. She thought it was so cute that he wanted to play with her. She also was pushing her baby doll around in a stroller, and when she stopped to pick something up, Max jumped in. So, she took her doll out and just started pushing Max around. He thought it was great until she started pushing him! He likes to sleep with Abby at night. I think it is because she just lays still and lets him come to her. Jillian is always playing with him, so when it's time to take a nap, he goes to the one being still and not calling him. We are still very glad that we got him. he hardly sheds at all, loves to play, is good with the girls, and likes to snuggle.

Gingerbread House

Abby decorated gingerbread houses at school the other day, and I just haven't posted the pictures yet. So sorry. We had a lot of fun. She even put an ice fishing pond in hers with her daddy fishing. She is so creative! Jillian had her Christmas party today at school, but I forgot the camera! She has a Christmas program on Friday, and I'll take pictures of that. Abby has a party tomorrow at school, but it's kids only! Hope you all are having a great Holiday season!

Cheer Pictures

I'm still trying to get Steve to upload the video for me from the last post, but here are some pictures from her last game. Isn't she cute!!!

Round 2

Well, Jillian woke up this morning with the ever famous rash on her face. I noticed some dots on her face yesterday, but she gets really bad eczema in the winter and I just put some lotion on it. This morning it is more pronounced and is also starting in on one of her arms. She is not contagious now that she has the rash, but she never got a fever or even a cold. I'm pretty sure that it is fifths diesase though, because the rash looks just like the one Abby had! Uggh! I just thought we would be lucky and not have someone sick in the family this week!

North Pole City

Steve took the girls to the North Pole City last night to see Santa and to finalize their lists. I was out shopping with my Mom, but I found these pictures this morning and am very proud that the girls dressed for the occasion. We just got these dresses yesterday from a friend that handed down some clothes to Abby. One of the dresses in there just happened to be a size 4 and was just like one that fit Abby only in another color. If you look closely, you can tell that I haven't taken all of their summer shoes out of their closets yet! Whoops! It looks like they had a great time and even got a card from Santa saying they were on the Nice list!

Cheer

Abby started taking Cheer this winter for indoor basketball games. She looks SO cute in her outfit! Here are a couple of videos that I took of her doing her cheers at home with her new uniform on. Don't worry, she has a little mock turtleneck that goes under it. We just hadn't recieved it yet. I took some pictures with my phone at the first game since my battery on the camera died the minute we got there. I don't know how to download them off of my phone, so I will let Steve post those! Ok I can't get blogger to let me upload my videos either. Pictures coming once Steve gets home! :)
