Ears!

Well, not much has been happening lately that is blog worthy, so I decided to catch up on more Christmas break activities. The girls both got their ears pierced (or peared as they called it). Abby had been talking about it for a long time so we dicided that we would go to the mall and check it out. Abby decided that she wanted to wait (just like we thought she would), but Jillian (who had told us she DID NOT want to have it done) decided that she wanted to do it. She got it done after some hesitating, and 3 days later Abby decided that it was time for hers to be done. After some thought and 2 trips to the store, she finally got it done. Abby got her birthstone (diamonds, fake of course), and Jillian got little pink ones. They were both so excited to show them off. We had to wait 2 hours for the jewlery store to have 2 people there to be able to do both of Abby's ears at the same time. So in the meantime, I took the girls to the spa in the mall to get their nails painted. It only costs $5 for them to get them painted with a little design on them. Abby's are the red ones and Jillian's are the pink/ purple colored ones. Jillian being the picker that she is, had picked off all of her nail polish before we left the mall! So much for that. All in all, we had a great Christmas break!

Jackson Priebe

One of the "things" that has been keeping us busy was the anticipation of the new Preibe boy. Isn't he adorable?! They are so blessed to have 2 beautiful boys! Of course, our girls are happy to help hold and kiss him. He'll like the kissing alot more when he is older! :) Welcome to the world little Jackson!

Catching Up

Yes, I am aware that it has been months since we have blogged. We really don't have a good excuse except that we have been busy living life and enjoying family. We did get a little bit of snow after Thanksgiving and the kids enjoyed missing a day of school and having Daddy home to help build snowmen and sled. For Thanksgiving we drove to Mississippi and stayed with Steve's parents for a week. We had a blast and the kids got to do crafts with Memaw and take bubble baths in Papa's Jetted tub. For Christmas we stayed around here and went to the festival of lights with my parents (family tradition) and spent the night at their house and opened presents from santa! We had a great holiday season and hope to have a wonderful New Year. Thank you to all of you that check our blog religiously, now you'll have something new to read! :)

King's Singers

Steve and I went to Lubbock, TX in November to see the King's Singers preform live. The tickets were free thru a church so we couldn't pass them up. Steve got his picture taken with all of the singers, but this guy's name is Stephen so I put this one in. We had a great time, and it was a much needed get away trip for us.
