Name that rash

Did anybody guess what kind of rash Abby has? Well, it was worse this morning (despite the benedryl) and now was bright red and also on her arms and legs. That's right folks, we have the slapped face otherwise known as fifth's disease. Luckily she is not contagious now that she has the rash. She was contagious at the same time that she got her ear infection last week. The only reason we probably didn't know is because we were giving her Motrin for her ear infections and it most likely masked the fever that fifth's disease would have caused. It will take a while for the rash to go away, so expect those Christmas cards to be a little late this year!
